The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has commenced the elections of its branch executives held across the country.
The elections will take place between the 14th and 30th April, 2018 across all the 30,000 branches.
The positions which shall be contested for at the branch elections are chairman, secretary, organizer, treasurer, communication officer, women organizer, youth organizer and two other elected members.
The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, who spoke to mypowerfmonline.com assured all was set for the elections.
He said elections materials had been deployed to all the centers as at Friday morning.
The party has served notice any breach of the elections guidelines will render the results null and void.
The payment of GHS 1 as subscription fee is a requirement for membership, according to the party, and will be ongoing throughout the period of the election process at the branch level.
Branches which fail to meet a minimum membership requirement of 20 registered members will have to put the elections on hold and reopen further registration of members, the party has noted.
