The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer, John Mahama has landed a second position on the Electoral Commission (EC’s) ballot paper to be used for the December presidential elections.
Deputy General Secretary, Peter Boamah Otokunor represented the NDC at the balloting process at the EC’s Headquaters Tuesday while the ruling NPP’s representative picked the first position for President Akufo-Addo.
Mr Otokunor who was elated for the ballot position revealed that the NDC’s position indicates the second coming of its flagbearer to occupy the presidency.
“We are very happy about the position we have got, ” Otokunor said “In actual fact, that was what we were expecting, we came in for two and that is what we got. God has spoken and it’s two sure. The second coming of JM.”
Members and sympathisers of the NDC on social media have expressed happiness about their party’s position on the ballot paper, indicating that it is the second victory for Mr Mahama in the polls.
