Akosua Agyapong appeared on newly-designed TV XYZ’s personality-based television show, Legends hosted by Agyemang Prempeh on Sunday, July 5 2020.
Legends, originally aims at celebrating veterans in the creative arts industry for their immense contributions to the growth and the success the industry continues to chalk and keep their legacies alive.
The show, since its inception has earned unprecedented high-rating like Monday Sports Highlight and FIFA World Cup grand finale.
Industry players like Fred Kyei Mensah, Kwame Boadu Ansong, Mr. Sammy and a host of other great analysts have given the show five star.
Making appearance on the third episode of the Legends show, Akosua Agyapong could not hide her excitement for such laudable initiative.
She was full of praises for TV XYZ management, producers and host of the show which airs Sundays at 5pm.
On the choice of name for the talk show, Legends, the ‘Frema’ crooner, who has over two decades of experience in the music industry embraced it wholeheartedly.
Breaking the words making Legends down, she said the letter ‘L’ represents Lovely people who paved the way for others to follow.
The E, for Excellent, “all our [veterans] songs continue to reign, they get airplay.” Whilst noting the G stands for Genuine their songs were devoid of fakeness.
Also, the second E, the singer formerly known as Elizabeth Agyapong said denotes Effective because, “without us there’s no young artistes.”
She intimated N for very people nice people, “We understand music so we’re respect people.”
Additionally, D for Discipline stating that some of the new crop of musicians are not serious. And S because “they’re very sweet.”
