Frontline Health Workers Reward In Heaven-Minister

The Northern Regional Minister, Mr Salifu Sa-eed has called on frontline health workers to continue to work hard since their reward is in heaven.

According to the Minister, the compensation and allowance from the government is not enough to reward the gallant health workers in the country.

“The government may give you allowance and other incentives but your true reward is in heaven” he revealed.

He disclosed this during the launch of second phase of National Disinfection, Fumigation and clean up exercise in the Northern Region.

The Local Government and Rural Development Ministry in collaboration with Zoomlion Ghana Limited are disinfecting and cleaning about eight hundred market places and public toilets in the Region.

Mr Sa-eed further made a fervent appeal to the people of his region to ensure discipline by observing all the Covid-19 safety protocols.

This, he said, would help people in the Northern Region in particular, and the country as a whole, to minimise the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in the country.

“I want to make a passionate appeal to the citizens of Northern Region in particular, and Ghanaians in general, to “self-imprison COVID-19” by wearing nose mask, practising social distancing and staying at home when we do not have any essential thing to do in town,” he advised.
