Legendary Highlife musician and pianist, Kwadwo Akwaboah Senior, has expressed his gratitude to his musician son for his support throughout his trying times.
The ‘Hini Me’ hitmaker indicated that his son, Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Junior, popularly known as Akwaboah, takes full responsibility of him.
“He’s young and I don’t have to largely depend on him with my problems but he does his best,” Kwadwo Akwaboah said.
Kwadwo Akwaboah, who has been blind for about a decade now said the ‘Hye Me Bo’ hitmaker does not make him lack anything in life.
Making appearance on the Legends show hosted by ace broadcaster, Agyemang Prempeh on TV XYZ, he heaped praises on Akwaboah for his generosity towards him.
“I always bless him because he remembers his father [Akwaboah Senior] “Daddy, how are you?”, “Daddy, I’ve sent you money, I have sent you this, I have sent you that” I have never lacked anything because of my son,” the veteran record producer and musician disclosed.
He indicated that he wish he could regain his sight so he could hug his son for his selfless service in taking care of him financially.
The ‘Awerekyekyere’ composer made a heartfelt request from Ghanaians that they should remember his son in prayers for all he’s done for him.
Kwadwo Akwaboah Senior started music professionally in the 1980s. He’s six albums to his credit and has recorded great musicians like Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Nana Ampadu, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, Wofa Asomani, etc,.
