‘I have not quit nursing’ – Diana Hamilton

Despite widespread rumour claiming popular gospel musician, Diana Hamilton, who doubles as a nurse has quit the noble profession to focus fully on her music career, the award-winning signer says otherwise.

Diana Hamilton has said she still practices as a registered nurse with the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom.

Speaking with Power 97.9FM’s Agyemang Prempeh on Saturday, October 31 2020, the ‘Wasem’ hit singer maintained the rumour that she’s quit nursing lacks positive accuracy and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

“Hearing through the grapevine that you have quit nursing. Do you still practice nursing?” Asked Agyemang Prempeh when the singer appeared on his Power Entertainment show to promote her new single entitled ‘Adom’. She answered, “Please Yes”

I have not quit nursing. Why are people saying I have quit?” Diana Hamilton wondered.

To dispute the rumour which has gained grounds completely, the 2020 Gospel Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards asked the show host to visit the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) website, the body which regulates nurses and midwives in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to ascertain her claim.

In confirmation, it was established that the singer continues to ply her trade in the United Kingdom as a nurse.
