We Will Start Single Track Next Year – Bolga Girls

The school authorities of Bolga Girls Senior High School have decided that the school will abolish the double track system in January 2021.

According to the Senior House Master and the school administrator of the Bolga Girls Senior High School, Napaala Stanislaus the school is in the position to start single track studies.

“The school is more than prepared to accommodate all students coming to the school and we are ready to go single track next year from January because we have a lot of infrastructure to take them”. he explained.
Mr Napaala was speaking with journalists after the third phase of disinfection exercise in Basic and SHS schools across the Upper East Region.

Zoomlion in partnership with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Ghana Education Servuce (GES) is continuing the disinfection of senior high schools (SHS) in the Upper East Region to curb the spread of the virus.

Mr Napaala expressed his appreciation of disinfecting the school for the 2nd time since the SHS 2 students will return to school on October 5.

He said that” the exercise is timely since it will help to eradicate the bedbugs more or less the virus which has hit the country and we are hopeful that this one will eradicate any infection and insects totally”.

“The school right from day one has been putting measures in place. The Old Girls Association together with the government brought the thermometer gun, veronica buckets, hand sanitizers among others to ensure that on student is affected”. He added.

He further added that their biggest problem is the bus since the students are about 2000 and the buses are not enough to pick students leaving outside the school.
