Waste management giant Zoomlion Ghana Limited has expressed its readiness to partner with other sanitation management companies to help keep the country clean, when the need arises.
The Volta Regional Manager of Zoomlion, Solomon Denyo, who disclosed this at the second phase of the national disinfection exercise at Ho, indicated that Zoomlion did not intend to monopolize the waste management and environmental sector and thus welcomed the idea that Dansworld Waste Management Company had come on board as a partner for the exercise.
Mr Denyo in an exclusive interview with Power Fm’s Daakyhene Ofosu Agyeman added that Zoomlion was happy to be working with a Ghanaian owned company in that field to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus in the country.
The Chief Executive Officer of Dansworld International Services Ltd. Bernard Danso Ntow also speaking with Power News said his company saw Zoomlion Ghana Ltd as a partner and not a competitor, expressing the willingness to work with them on any project in the future.
The exercise which commenced yesterday, is under the auspices of Local Government and Rural Development Ministry with support from Zoomlion Ghana Ltd and Dansworld International Services Ltd, saw the disinfection of about seventy-eight markets, lorry parks and other public places in the region.
The exercise continues today with a clean-up exercise to tidy the streets and other public spaces in the Volta Regional capital, Ho.
